Working in private practice, specialising in the area of lymphoedema and supporting those who are undergoing their journey through cancer in a variety of ways including Oncology Massage.
I offer lymphatic massage and decongestive lymphatic drainage involving support and advice in exercise, skincare, compression therapy including bandaging and compression garments and manual lymph drainage. This supports not only those with lymphoedema but also lipoedema.
Lymphatic drainage aids lymphoedema, lipo-lymphoedema, detoxing, sinus congestion, post-surgery swelling and more.
Oncology Massage is a deep relaxation massage that allows the body to better cope with cancer treatment side-effects such as pain, nausea, fatigue, anxiety and or depression.
Ortho-Bionomy is a gentle, effective form of bodywork therapy. It employs subtle, yet deliberate movements that reposition your body to naturally release the stress and pain patterns.
Health conditions it may aid in the recovery of are: muscle tension, back and neck pain, frozen shoulder, sciatica, painful leg, knee and ankle issues, injuries, accidents and more.
Supporting Best Recovery after Breast Cancer Surgery involves evaluation of soft tissue impairments, barrier release methods for skin, superficial, deep scars and adhesions common to breast cancer survivors and aiding in optimal range of movement.
Scar Tissue Release is appropriate for all scars on the body. The McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release technique works directly over scars of any age.

Meghan was reommended to me by a friend the day before my mastectomy and the start of cancer treatment. Meghan went out of her way to see me the night before the operation to take measurements for a baseline at the start of treatment.
I continued to see Meghan through treatment for oncology massages following each chemo cycle which were fantastic! I have also seen Meghan for lymphatic drainage massage, for scar tissue work getting ready for radiation and Ortho-Bionomy due to a frozen shoulder after radiation.
I would highly recommend Meghan through treatment, and feel that her holistic approach helped me through treatment.
Thank you Kate, Loving what I do hopefully translates into good care 🙂
I was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. A survivors coffee group was started in Palmerston & that is when I met Meghan. In late 2018 I was again diagnosed with a new Primary Breast Cancer & immediately contacted Meghan who has been with me the whole time with her various modalities. I had a Lymphodeama screen & my LDex score recorded, I was also measured for a compression sleeve. On the day before surgery I had an Oncology Massage which was so relaxing & calming. After some healing had occurred I have had regular Lymphodeama Drainage & been shown how to do it myself at home. I had Chemotherapy for 3 months & Herceptin infusions for nearly 12 months. I continued with the drainage & massages on a regular basis. After some more healing Meghan also incorporated some scar work as I had a Bilateral Mastectomy. The scars are now very faint & the surrounding areas are very soft which has given me more movement, practically the same as before the surgery.
I would recommend Meghan to anyone who is about to start on a Cancer Journey. Her treatment room is in her home, it is a sanctuary of peace & quiet, very calming as is Meghan herself. Having been on the same journey herself & becoming interested in the different facets of post surgery treatment Meghan is compassionate & caring & understands any fears & concerns.
Sandy, it has been a pleasure to support you though this time 🙂
