Becky gained her BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy in 2006. She initially worked within the National Health Service in the UK, but soon found her way into Private Practice, assessing and treating a variety of musculo-skeletal conditions. Becky went on to gain post graduate training in acupuncture. She also completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2010.
Her love of outdoor sports and horse riding led her to start focusing on body movement and patterning, which provided the basis for her to gain her APPI Modified Pilates Instruction Certification. She has since completed a number of professional development training programs to enhance her Pilates Instruction and Clinical Reasoning.
Becky’s focus for the next 5 years is on Cancer Rehabilitation, Pelvic health and Visceral Manipulation.
Delivering the PINC and STEEL registered rehab program along with Next Steps, whilst hoping to become certified in the Paddle On program provided by www.pincandsteel.com. She will continue to develop her Uro Gynae/pelvic health knowledge and skills and continue with the Barral institute training in visceral manipulation. The continued development in her Veterinary Physiotherapy will also be a high priority.
Being a Mum, she knows about the toil pregnancy, birth and post natal life can have on your body, energy and mental health. Becky provides women’s health physiotherapy and can help with many concerns regarding incontinence, stomach/body changes and pelvic floor adaptions pre and post baby.
Out of work Becky can be found running around (literally) with her two boys Richie and Marcus, you may spot her at the pool too doing her weekly “set”.
