Massage therapy answered a call for me in ways I could never have dreamed. While I was still practicing engineering, my wife and I took an out-of-state vacation. As part of our unwinding week, we experienced full body massages. My massage left me so relaxed, so free of worry that I wanted to learn how I could give this gift to others. Initially, I sought out licensing as a massage therapist only with the intent of practicing massage therapy part-time. Quickly, though, it became evident that I enjoyed providing a service to people in a low-stress setting and with work that was purposeful and provided plenty of intellectual stimulation. I found more variables and more challenges with massaging people and helping them to find ways to decompress both physically and mentally that I chose to make massage therapy a full-time profession.

Through patience and perseverance I have a successful business where I can leverage my own corporate background and apply this into the corporate services I provide for companies and their employees. And with this life transition, I have been fortunate enough to have my lovely wife, Mary Joy, and my wonderful 15-year old son, Josh, at my side. It is from this joy of life and enjoyment of career that I strive to provide every client a lasting massage experience via Strategic Wellness Services.
