Kat Gibbons
Physiotherapist
Kat is an experienced rehabilitation physio who loves working with people to improve their quality of life. She has a wide range of physiotherapy experience having worked in hospitals and private practice in the UK and Australia.
Kat was motivated to focus on oncology after working as part of a breast cancer rehab program in Melbourne and saw the massive difference it made to those patients. After moving to the Sunshine Coast she was surprised to find that very few tailored programs were available to people living with cancer and decided to do something about changing that. She was awarded a regional scholarship by PINC & STEEL Cancer Rehabilitation Trust to train as a cancer rehab physiotherapist and is now able to offer individual and group treatment programs.
Kat is known for her caring and supportive attitude. She understands that being ill or injured can affect both the mind and body and is passionate about helping clients to get the best possible results by taking control of their recovery.
When not working in the clinic or local hospitals Kat loves being outdoors and enjoying our beautiful coast with her young family. She is currently learning to surf and also hopes to complete her first triathlon this year.
